It's "poor" relative to the rest of the market for controllers. That makes it “poor” for you, but is a less appropriate judgement for ordinary people. But by definition, if your standards are higher than normal, then they do not apply to the normal user. Calling it “poor” implies it won’t last an ordinary gaming session by a mere mortal gamer. I’m buying, because 10 hour battery life is plenty. Seriously! I’m interested: you clearly are well informed on battery life on multiple controllers and platforms. No one ordinarily buys a “poor” product right? Would you really say this product is so poor as not worth buying at all? If yes, I’d like to ask why you judge it poor. Your comment could then have been helpful and informative without trashing a product entirely, not recommending it at all. That makes it “poor” for you, but is a less appropriate judgement for ordinary people.Ī fairer comment than poor could have been “not as good as” or similar. As long as it's more than I can use in a single playing session, I'm happy. I don't see battery life as something I need to concern myself with for things like controllers. Also, in case of battery death emergency, you can always just plug it into the iPad or a battery pack and keep playing. I'd be hard pressed to use it 10 hours over a weekend, especially without access to a charger. I'm never going to use it 10-hours straight. I get what you're saying, but really, 10-hour battery life is enough if you're good at keeping things charged. That's in line with Sony PS5 controller battery life, but the Series X controller gets 30, the Switch Pro gets 40, and the Nimbus+ gets 50.
